Problem #10

Problem: You are trying to get media attention to your new concept, product or brand, but nobody is interested.

Solution: If you stand for something that most people agree with (e.g. democracy is good), then nobody will care, nobody will be interested, and nobody will know you exist. To catch peoples interest you have to stand for something that can cause debate. Remember that there is a fine line between doing that, and standing for something really wrong. When it comes to PR, it's important that you are honest!

Problem #8

Problem: You are trying to blog, but you don't know what to write!

Solution: Listen to some good music, visit youtube or even other blogs to find the inspiration you need. After doing this, you have to come up with something original that is your own!

Problem #7

Problem: You are creating a background picture for Twitter, but you don't know what size to use!

Solution: Open Twitter, go to your profile, take a screen shot and open the file in photoshop CS5. Now you have a good overview of the size proportions. Remember to have the right amount of pixels!

Problem #6

Problem: You have sent out a press release, you haven't got a reply and you don't know what to do!

Solution: Don't call the receiver and ask if the press release has arrived. Instead you should have call the receiver beforehand and ask if they are interested in the news. Always remember to use your logotype, write down you contact information and present your business in a few words in the footer!

Problem #5

Problem: You are trying to create an advertising poster in PhotoShop CS5, but it crashes all the time!

Solution: Go to the store and buy Photoshop CS5!

Problem #4

Problem: You have lost your creativity just before you start working on a PR-strategy plan!

Solution: Take a highball glass, fill it with ice cubes, pour 2 oz. of Hendrick's Gin and fill the glass with tonic water. Stir and garnish with cucumber!
